The Third European Network and Information Security Conference
Cooperation to Enhance Security in Cyber Environment
20-22 November 2007, Vilnius, Lithuania

Objective of the conference

The overall objective of the conference is to bring together actors in charge of different international collaboration instruments in the area of cybersecurity. By means of synergy cooperation, the conference aims at enhancing cyber security and providing a forum for information sharing and networking with stakeholders in the private and public sectors as well as civil society.

Main topics of the conference

- Framework for cooperation on cybersecurity – best practice,
- Cyber-crime and enforcement,
- Management of security incidents.

Post-conference workshop

On 22 November, a post-conference workshop is scheduled. This post-conference workshop will target the ISP sector as a critical spot in safeguarding against security incidents and will attempt to deliver some organisational and technological solutions for ensuring protection and efficient management of incidents in the ISP networks.

Target audience of the event

- Senior representatives of governments and law enforcement organizations working in the field of network and information security;
- Senior ICT security experts from business and users organizations dealing with network and information security;
- CERT representatives.

Date and location of the conference

The conference is planned to be held on 20-21 November 2007, in Vilnius, Lithuania, and the post-conference workshop is to be held on 22 November 2007.
